The Marshall County Commissioners voted Monday morning to allow Auditor Julie Fox to receive certain items electronically during the time the county offices are closed to the public and during the Public Health Disaster Emergency.
Claims and other payroll documents will be allowed to be emailed to Fox to reduce the number of people in the office to slow the spread of COVID-19.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger noted that Indiana Code does support this method of delivering that type of material electronically and the commissioners voted unanimously to follow that procedure.
