Marshall County Commissioners Extend Closure of County Buildings to Public

The Marshall County Commissioners have extended an order to close the Marshall County Building, Marshall County Courthouse and Annex to the public.

The original order was approved on March 20 which expired on Monday, April 6, but to follow with the governor’s order to shelter-in-place until April 20, the commissioners voted Monday by teleconference to extend the order for another 14 days.

Only essential employees will be working at this time.  Those employees are identified by the commissioners, elected officials, judges and department heads.  They will be required to work or telecommute during this closing.  Employees directed to stay home or shelter-in-place shall be paid normal compensation.
