Hoham Drive Project in Plymouth Pushed Back to 2023

The proposed Hoham Drive project in Plymouth is expected to be delayed until 2023.  Plymouth City Engineer Rick Gaul explained to the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members last week that the funding for the project by INDOT was moved to ensure funding for the project in 2023.

Despite the change, work on the detention area location is ongoing and the design for the project continues.  The geotechnical aspect is also moving along.

The project includes the widening of Hoham Drive from Michigan Street to a point 260 feet west of Western Avenue.  This will allow for a 14-foot, two-way left turn west of Western Avenue and a dedicated eastbound right turn lane at Western Avenue.  Curb, gutters and a sidewalk are a part of the project as well.
