Elevate Argos members are planning to initiate a photo shoot Thursday night to engage neighbors during this pandemic.
Officials are asking Argos residents to participate in “Front Door Fun” where families can pose in the front of their homes where will act out a scene from their favorite family-fun movie, as explained by Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney. The photos will be taken from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. by the Elevate Argos partners, from a social distance, and then posted online where everyone will have the chance to guess which movie is being portrayed in each photo.
Jon VanDerWeele, one of the originators of Elevate Argos, said the organization is keeping the momentum of the group going while exercising social distancing measures.
Elevate Argos is a group of community representatives, business owners and local residents whose focus is to raise the quality of life through social connections. Any plans for 2020 were recently canceled, but Thursday’s Front Door Fun should keep the community engaged.
