Leaders with the City of Plymouth have agreed to host meetings virtually while following the requirements of state and federal health officials to exercise social distancing.
The city is using the Zoom webinar platform for board meetings. The first meeting using Zoom is Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. with the Plymouth Plan Commission Meeting, followed by the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 7:30 p.m.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi noted that the public will be permitted to attend and participate in the webinars in person, but it will be limited to no more than 10 people at a time. He strongly encourages online or telephone participation. There is a feature on Zoom where someone can get the attention of the board by engaging the “raise hand” feature to comment or by typing a question in the chat box.
The meeting and webinars will also be streamed on Facebook live.
