Another 500 Hoosiers Diagnosed with COVID-19

The Indiana State Department of Health announced Monday that an additional 505 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 from Sunday’s data.  The information is collected through testing at the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. 

Another seven people have died from the novel coronavirus with a total of 569 deaths to date, according to the report.  The report also states that deaths are reported based on when data is received by the Indiana State Department of Health and occurred over multiple days. 

Starke County has reported 11 cases and one death, while Marshall County is reporting 23 cases and Pulaski County is reporting one case. 

The Westville Correctional facility reported 123 positive COVID-19 cases and one death in its latest update.
