Volunteers Step up to Continue Providing Meals to John Glenn Students

Students and employees are taking a break this week with Spring Break, but meals continue to be served to John Glenn School Corporation students.

During the Spring Break closure at the school corporation, Superintendent Christopher Winchell said local church and school volunteers agreed to help maintain production and distribution of 475 lunches per day to corporation students.

Four drivers from the John Glenn Transportation Department, along with members of the Administration Team and Teachers’ Union, spouses, Walkerton First Presbyterian Church, Kingdom of Fellowship North Liberty Church, North Liberty Church of Christ and the Walkerton United Methodist Church have answered the call to continue to assist students.

Meals will continue to be delivered during the governor’s mandated closure of all schools through May 1.
