In his report to the Triton School Board this week, Superintendent Jeremy Riffle explained that the administrators are in constant communication with local and state officials with the concern of the coronavirus.
Riffle commented that they are monitoring the situation and how it is affecting other school corporations. He stated that parents have been given helpful tips and suggestions on keeping loved ones safe.
Teachers are in possession of disinfectant wipes and there is continuous utilization of the Active Pure filtration systems installed in elementary classrooms several years ago. Riffle noted that those systems were updated and reinstalled to the new ductwork in the summer of 2018.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently awarded the State of Indiana over $10.6 million to provide resources to state and local jurisdictions in support of the nation’s response to the coronavirus disease 2019.
