Plymouth Mayor Presents Executive Order, Declares Public Health Emergency

The Mayor of Plymouth has declared a public health disaster emergency, as ratified by the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night.

The Executive Order allows the city to record what expenses are spent during this public health emergency for future reimbursement.

Mayor Mark Senter said employees who may be furloughed or placed on administrative leave of absence as part of the response to COVID-19 shall be paid their regular pay and benefits.

Mayor Senter also has called upon residents to comply with necessary emergency measures to cooperate with public officials and disaster service forces when emergency plans are enacted.

The Executive Order will expire one week from Monday, and at that time it may be extended by the Mayor if so ordered.
