Argos Town Council Vice President Randy Snead recently toured Sequel Wire and was impressed with the operation so far.
He told the town council members said he spent quite a bit of time with the owner to look at the equipment and how the process works there. Things are bit delayed due to contractors and other work, but Snead noted that the Town of Argos will have something to be really proud of in this business.
Sequel Wire and Cable representatives announced plans last fall to make a $53 million combined investment in facility and production equipment that is anticipated to create up to 120 new jobs.
This facility will house equipment capable of producing high-quality wire and cable products to meet customer specifications and demands.
The company is located in the manufacturing center on Dewey Street in Argos.
