Marshall County will receive funding for two bridge replacement projects beginning in July 2025.
Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters submitted funding requests for INDOT’s 2025 Call for Projects for Bridge No. 11 on Union Road North over the Peter-Sarber Ditch south of U.S. 6. That project was awarded $1,080,960 in funding. Bridge No. 232 on Randolph Street in Plymouth will receive $2,254,480.
Peters reminded the county commissioners that the projects will require a 20 percent match from the county. Right-of-way provisions shouldn’t cause any problems, but Peters said he’ll find out more information about all the requirements soon.
