Argos Town Attorney Derek Jones told the town council members last week that the farm lease contract was signed
The council members awarded the 38-acres farm lease in December for town-owned property on Dewey Street. The lease was once again awarded to farmer William Voreis. He will pay $131.57 per acre. Voreis is paying about $40 less this year than he did last year, however, the acreage that was available to him was also reduced.
