Culver voters will have a new site to cast a ballot in the upcoming election.
On Tuesday morning, the Marshall County Election Board members discussed moving the voting location from the Culver Depot to the Culver Community School Corporation Administration Building.
According to Clerk Deb VanDeMark, the Culver Vote Center is used two Saturdays prior to the election for early voting purposes. Many times there are conflicts with town events in that building so the board thought it best to seek out an alternate location.
The board did visit the administration building and found plenty of parking, it is ADA accessible and it’s large enough to accommodate the voters.
The board members voted unanimously to approve the move to begin with the Primary Election on May 5.
