The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they are anticipated to open bids for the sewer department truck. They previously gave permission to Utility Superintendent Bob Porter to seek bids on a truck no longer needed for the sewer department. A newer truck was approved for purchase for the department during the last meeting.
The first reading of a salary ordinance amendment is expected along with the 2019 annual report, and reports on the Culver Stellar Communities projects and the Regional Stellar Communities activities. In addition, council members will take another look at language in the contract with the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation. Updates from the department heads will also be given during tonight’s meeting.
The Culver Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight, following a work session at 5:30 p.m. ET for a Board of Finance presentation on the state of the town’s finances. Both meetings will be held at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
