Argos Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney will be researching two software companies in order to make a decision on a program that will help with accounting and other needs she performs in her office. She noted that she’s having all sorts of issues with the current software in her office.
Mullaney told the Argos Town Council members last week that she obtained four quotes. She wanted to eliminate two right away due to cost and focus on the two lower quotes submitted by two software companies.
Mullaney said Fray submitted the lowest quote. She would like someone from her office to see how programs work for the City of Plymouth and report back to her. The next company she wants to research further is BS&A which is utilized by the City of Rochester. Once more information is gathered, she will make a recommendation to the council on which software she prefers.
No matter which software she chooses, she anticipates a six month process of setting everything up and inputting data.
