Members of the Marshall County Crossroads Regional Stellar Communities Designation Initiative will host the Lieutenant Governor and members from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs in a Stellarbration event.
Marshall County Crossroads was designated as the Regional Stellar Community Designee two weeks ago. An event to celebrate that effort will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marshall County Community Center at 211 W. Walnut Street in Argos at the site of the Marshall County 4-H Fairgrounds. The building is located south of the buildings on the property.
Following remarks from Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch, state dignitaries, local elected officials, leaders, and citizens from across the county at noon, a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Marshall County Community Center is planned. The project received funding from the Office of Community Affairs.
The public is invited to attend.
