Plymouth City Council Holds Public Hearing Concerning Additional Appropriations

The Plymouth City Council members opened a public hearing Monday night to take comments on an advertisement for additional appropriations.

Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver said $1,617 is being requested in the Capital Outlay Budget classification in the City Building project construction fund for the final payment to the architect.  The request also included the donation of $575,000 to the REES Theater.  The money will come from the Other Services and Charges in the 1993 TIF Tax Money Fund.

The last request was for 30,000 from the Supplies Budget classification in the Aviation Rotary Fund for fuel.

No public comments were given during the meeting.  A resolution granting the additional appropriation requests was later approved by the Plymouth City Council members with a unanimous vote.
