The Marshall County Commissioners have a busy morning ahead of them.
Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters plans to present the 2020 road plan to the commissioners today along with bid awards for several services for the highway department.
Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist will have an ordinance for review that pertains to the county’s designation as a broadband ready community. Plan Director Ty Adley is expected to have three ordinances for consideration that include the topics of solar, erosion control, and fees.
Marshall County Extension Director Karen Richey will have her annual report as well as a contractual services agreement, while Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez will have information to share with the commissioners.
In other matters, Sheriff Matt Hassel has a vehicle purchase request for next year and will ask permission for officers to attend out-of-state training. The commissioners will consider a vehicle bid award, an ABC board reappointment, and a reappointment to the Marshall County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
A special event request is also listed on the advance agenda and a resident plans to discuss a tile issue on Tamarack Road.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
