Marshall County Commissioners to Meet Today

The Marshall County Commissioners will welcome the new commissioner when they meet this morning.

Michael Burroughs was selected at a Republican Party Caucus last week to fill the unexpired term of Michael Delp who stepped down from his Marshall County Commissioner seat in early October.

Burroughs joins Commission President Kevin Overmyer and Commission Vice President Stan Klotz today where they will address several items.

The commissioners plan to award a Request for Qualifications bid concerning the Marshall County Courthouse Clock Tower project.  They will also make Board of Health appointments, review a CRC agreement, approve a Sick Bank Board recommendation, and consider an OCRA Stellar Interlocal Agreement.  A discussion on Health Insurance for 2020 is also an agenda item.

In other business, Jim Hulse will discuss tax billing, and regular reports will be given by Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and County Attorney Jim Clevenger.

Today’s Marshall County Commissioners meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
