Bremen Water, Storm Water and Street Superintendent Alex Mikel says several new streets will get new pavement thanks to INDOT’s Community Crossings matching grant program.
Mill and two-inch hot mix asphalt resurfacing will take place next year, along with any sidewalk, curb and gutter replacements as needed.
Work will be done on Bike Street from North Marshall Street to North Maryland Street, Raymond Street from South Washington Street to the dead end, Alexander Street from East Maple Street to State Road 106, Washington Street from East Maple Street to East South Street, Water Street from North Baltimore Street to State Road 331, and Southlawn Court from the dead end to South Stewart Street.
The state’s Community Crossing total support is just under $330,000.
