Plans for financing for Winona Building Products continue moving forward with paperwork to be considered in November.
Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members in September that new market tax credits have been secured and the paperwork is being prepared to present to the Plymouth Economic Development Commission along with a bond ordinance to the Plymouth Council in the matter. A small delay in the process has pushed a public hearing concerning TIF bond financing to November.
Winona Building Products, LLC officials are planning to upgrade the plant at 506 North Street that formerly housed Del Monte to support more than four manufacturing lines by 2022. Winona Building Products, LLC offers high-quality insulation facings and vapor retarders.
