Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters updated the commissioners this week on road work that will continue as long as the weather remains stable.
Roadside shoulders on repaved roads will be worked on in the latter part of this week. The paint crew will continue painting county roads through Friday.
Culvert repair on 3rd Road is nearing completion. Peters said the heavy rainfall last week allowed workers to check on the repairs that have been done over the last several weeks to eliminate flooding and high water in that area. No flooding issues occurred.
The paving crew is expected to complete the paving on West Shore at the Lake of the Woods this week. Paving on 13th Road and 3B Road is done.
As projects wrap up, operators will be cleaning up machines and getting them ready to retire for the winter season.
