ISP Detective Talks with Triton Students About Bully Prevention Month

Several Triton students recently received a presentation from an Indiana State Police Detective who visited the Jr./Sr. High School as a part of Bully Prevention Month.

Students in 7th and 8th grade heard from ISP Detective Laurie Lemler who touched on the topic of bullying, specifically cyberbullying. She informed the students about state laws and let them know what they should do if they encounter a bully.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle noted that Detective Lemler has been providing helpful and informative presentations to Trojan scholars for several years. He mentioned that she has students who attend Triton and added that she’s been instrumental in the creation of the school corporation’s emergency and reunification plans.

Triton school officials recently expressed their gratitude to Detective Lemler on social media, thanking her for taking time out of her schedule to meet with students and modeling the Trojan Pride, Trojan Way.
