Two Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Plymouth

Two South Bend residents were arrested on Wednesday night after a traffic stop conducted by an officer with the Plymouth Police Department.

Police say the traffic stop was initiated in the area of Michigan Street and Veteran’s Parkway.  The driver, 37-year-old Gloria Vasquez, allegedly only produced an ID card to the officer.  The officer later reportedly learned that her Driver’s License was suspended.

She told officers that she was in possession of drugs that were in her bra, according to the report.

The report goes on to say that the driver had a restraining order enacted against the passenger, 38-year-old Daniel Moffett.

Vasquez was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and driving while suspended.  Moffett was booked on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy.
