The Marshall County Republican Party will hold a caucus to fill a vacancy on the Argos Town Council.
The caucus is set for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall County Republican Headquarters at 117 Water Street in Plymouth.
Candidates wishing to fill the At-Large seat vacated by Suzanne Umbaugh should file a declaration of candidacy no later than 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Send the declaration to Chairman David Holmes at 116 W. Plymouth Street, Bremen, IN 46506.
Walnut and Green Township Precinct representatives will vote to select the next candidate.
Umbaugh announced her resignation from the council effective Sept. 19.
