The property the town acquired from a resident who outbid the town in a Sheriff’s Sale is officially in the town’s possession.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told the Bremen Town Council members on Monday that the house at 121 S. Jackson Street is already torn down in anticipation of a larger flex street project anticipated to occur in 2020. A flex street allows daily traffic and parking while being flexible and accessible for events and festivals. There are no curbs which allows as a shared space for vehicles and pedestrians. A pavilion will be in the middle of the road.
