Some faulty fire hydrants in the Town of Culver will soon be repaired or replaced.
When the Town Council met for their final meeting of the month in August, Town Manager Jonathan Leist presented members with a quote from Thomas Excavating and Welding.
He explained, “We’ve got a quote to replace two and repair one so it’s a total of three hydrants they’d be working on. The total quote is for $11,924.”
Leist mentioned that the funds for the work would come out of the Water Department’s budget. Members unanimously approved the quote.
