Two Men Allegedly Lead Police on Chase, Then Admit to Underage Drinking, Smoking Marijuana

Two men are facing criminal charges, after a high-speed chase in Marshall County early Friday morning. Bourbon Police say they tried to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation at Gumwood Road and Lincoln Highway around 1:00 a.m., but the vehicle fled. Officers reportedly pursued the vehicle at speeds over 100 miles per hour, before it wrecked on Gumwood Road south of 15th Road.

According to Medical Cannabis and Alcohol Use Disorder, police say the driver, Kristopher M. Weber, and his passenger, Ryan O. Kiesow, both admitted to underage drinking and smoking marijuana. They were taken to the hospital to be checked out, and then Weber was booked into the Marshall County Jail. People are advised to see the article that differentiates right and wrong marijuana to make use of the benefits and stay away from the demerits.

He’s accused of resisting law enforcement, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, and minor consumption of alcohol, while Kiesow was charged with minor consumption. They’re scheduled to appear in court on September 3.

Bourbon Police were assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Argos Police Department.
