The resignation of Argos Town Council member Dylan Colburn has left a seat open for a new At-Large representative.
A caucus is set for Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall County Republican Headquarters at 117 Water Street in Plymouth.
Republican Precinct representatives in Walnut and Green Townships will select the candidate for the At-Large seat to fill the remainder of Colburn’s term for 2019.
Anyone residing in the town limits of Argos interested in filling the seat must file a Declaration of Candidacy no later than 72 hours in advance of the meeting. The paperwork must be filed with Chairman David Holmes at 116 W. Plymouth Street in Bremen.
