The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members considered a resolution Tuesday night commending the volunteers and donors who were involved in the South Michigan Street viaduct beautification project.
Commission member Nancy Felde read aloud from the document that recognized the effort to blast off the rust from the older structure and freshen it up with a new coat of paint. The concrete barrier under the bridge was also repainted.
Member Melissa Christiansen noted that several businesses donated money toward the project as well as private donors.
The commission members approved the document following a round of applause for those involved.
