The Marshall County Council members will hear from Marshall County Community Corrections Executive Director Ward Byers concerning a budget extension request for the project income line item, plus a salary ordinance change.
The council members will review additional appropriation requests which will include one from Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel. The amount would be for about $203,000 for three new rooftop heating/cooling units at the jail. The commissioners deemed it an extraordinary circumstance last week and would like to see the units replaced as soon as they can be delivered to the county. The build time is expected to take around 17 to 19 weeks.
A salary ordinance amendment for the probation department will also be considered.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
