
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning where they will hear from Marshall County Superior Court No. 2 Judge Dean Colvin about the implementation of a fourth court. A fourth court could manage to get offenders through the court system at a quicker pace and help reduce the jail population.

A few resident concerns will also be heard by the commissioners. Peggy Gantz will bring up an issue concerning shooting off fireworks in the county, Laura Garza will discuss a flooding issue, and the condition of 13th Road between Peach Road and 17 will be brought up by Pat Pearish.
In addition, Veteran’s Service Officer Pam Schweizer-Betz will talk about finance companies charging veterans. County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox will also have information for the commissioners when they meet at 9:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room of the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
