The Culver Town Council members will take time tonight to recognize Dr. Michael Deery on his retirement as he finishes 54 years of practicing medicine in Culver. A resolution will be read which will include a declaration proclaiming July 27, 2019 as Dr. Deery Day in Culver.
The town council members will also have the first reading of an ordinance pertaining to an amendment of the zoning and subdivision ordinance.
A public hearing is set to take comments on the proposed rezoning of the Sand Hill Farm LLC Property from Suburban Residential (S-1) to Planned Unit Development (PUD). If favorable, the council will consider the first reading of the zoning change following the public hearing.
A resolution that would authorize funds for public improvements will also be discussed.
The department heads are anticipated to deliver updates when the Culver Town Council meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
