The Culver Town Council members approved a proclamation Tuesday night that names Saturday, July 27 as Dr. Michael Deery Day.
Dr. Deery is retiring having served the Culver community for over 50 years as a physician. In addition to his Culver practice that began in 1968, he served as a physician along Dr. Warren Reiss at the Culver Academies for 38 years, and as the medical director for the Culver-Union Township EMS, Millers Merry Manor in Culver and Plymouth, and medical director for the St. Joseph Health Center in Plymouth.
The Culver Town Council members expressed their appreciation for Dr. Deery’s dedication to the citizens of Culver and his continuous example of helping people in need.
