A prominent fixture in the downtown Bremen area is now repaired.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told the town council members this week that the clock affixed on the Town Hall building is now working.
“It almost looks new!” said Weldy. “They actually put new glass faces on it and put some new hands on it. They also put a new timing machine on there so I don’t have to set it twice a year. It’s automatic when the time changes.”
The work was done by the Mount Vernon Clock Company in Ohio at a cost of $6,345.
