Retiring Bremen Police Officer to Take Service Firearm

A retiring officer from the Bremen Police Department will be taking his service firearm with him.

Chief Brad Kile said that Keith Fraine has 20 years of service with the department and a retirement celebration is planned for June 29.

Kile noted that several applications for Fraine’s  replacement are being reviewed.  A recommendation will come before the council soon.

Bremen Town Council President Michael Leman asked if Fraine was taking his service firearm with him when he leaves the department.  Kile formally requested that to take place which received unanimous approval from the Bremen Town Council members.

Fraine takes over as the Bremen Cemetery Superintendent on July 1.
