The Plymouth School Board considered an agreement for the 53rd Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival when members met last Tuesday.

Superintendent Andy Hartley provided a bit of background on the agreement.

He explained, “Our relationship with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival is a good one, a positive one and this agreement shows no changes from the past few years but it’s one this body considers annually”

The agreement addresses which school facilities will be utilized for parking and festival activities. It also touches on how parking fees will be divided between Plymouth High School, the MC Blueberry Festival and the Moose Lodge. It also lays out the responsibilities and requirements of those participating groups.

The School Board members voted unanimously to approve the agreement. The Marshall County Blueberry Festival will run from Friday, August 30th through Monday, September 2nd.
