Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters updated the Marshall County Commissioners Monday morning on the funding forecast in the MVH and Local Roads and Streets Funds.
In Motor Vehicle Highway, Peters said the monthly draw was about $355,360, which is about $25,439.58 less than last year. In the Local Roads and Streets Fund, the county received $64,822.59 which is about $82 more than what was received this time last year.
Peters said year-to-date, funding is down about $302,423.51.
“Revenues continue to go down,” said Peters. “Hopefully we continue with what we’ve got projected and try and get as much of that done as we possibly can and just keep working at it the best we can.”
