The Marshall County Council members are expected to consider funding the county-wide preliminary engineering study in order to make an informed decision on how to tackle the issue of failing septic systems.
The cost of the study is $50,000. It would need to be advertised as an additional appropriation, if approved.
Jim Causey and Brent Martin will request the county’s support of a housing project on West Jefferson and Ritter Streets. Plan Director Ty Adley will give a department update and Sheriff Matt Hassel and Health Administrator Christine Stinson will present grant application requests.
Deputy Prosecutor Tami Napier and Kelly Kanarr will present the Community Corrections Prosecutor Diversion Fiscal Year budget while Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will present the Community Corrections Fiscal Year budget.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will discuss a seasonal mowing crew supervisor.
Additional appropriations will be considered along with transfer requests and pay waiver requests.
The Marshall County Council members will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
