The Marshall County Highway Department will be getting a new loader.
Bids were opened during the June 3 meeting of the Marshall County Commissioners. During the most recent meeting, Highway Superintendent Jason Peters said he and the shop supervisor reviewed all of the bids and had a recommendation of a CAT loader that would fit the department’s needs. They recommended purchasing the 2015 CAT loader from MacAllister with 189 hours on it.
The complete purchase price with a $15,000 trade-in is $119,500.
The commissioners unanimously approved the purchase.
