The recent Firemen’s Festival in the Town of Bremen was a great success, as touted by Fire Chief Matt Neher.
He told the Bremen Town Council members this week that the attendance was up this year. There were only a few hours of rain during the festival which made the vendors happy.
As for the fireworks show, Electric Superintendent Jay Stoneburner said about 360 firework pieces were wired to shoot electronically and 200 were loaded by hand. It was a 30 minute show and Director of Operations Trend Weldy said the show was “amazing”.
Neher said next year’s Firemen’s Festival is scheduled for June 16-20.
