The Marshall County Council members will meet today where Health Department Administrator Christine Stinson and Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt will talk more about the Water Task Force.
The Water Task Force members are seeking Marshall County Council and Marshall County Commissioner approval to fund a study in the amount of $35,000 to $45,000 to alleviate the septic issues in the county and prevent water contamination.
The council members are also expected to get an update from IT Director Michael Marshall on the upgrade of the telephone system. A salary ordinance amendment for both Marshall County Community Corrections and Marshall County Probation will be considered. An abatement review and the Waggoner, Irwin and Scheele job classification and compensation study will be discussed.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
