The Candy Lane storm sewer project nears completion.
Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Wednesday night that all the main pipe is installed and paving should begin by the end of the week with the entire project to be done in two weeks.
“No parking has been removed and the detours have been eliminated,” said Davidson. “I have asked the police chief that on Friday if he could have some of his staff circle the area, especially on Lincolnway, as they will flagging that. They won’t be closing the street. I’m sure people will be getting impatient.”
Paving will be done on Ferndale, Lincolnway East and Candy Lane.
Board members Bill Walters and Jeff Houin commented that residents praised Selge Construction employees for the efforts in taking care of the residents during the main part of the project and of the work they are doing.
