Four companies submitted bids for paving projects for the Town of Bremen.
The companies submitted work to be done with Community Crossings projects and a few other smaller paving projects in city limits.
Town Attorney Anthony Wagner opened the bids during Monday’s Bremen Town Council meeting.
The Community Crossings projects include work on portions of 3rd Street, 4th Street, Beyler Street, Wahl Street, Holland Street, Grant Street, South Street, Southlawn Court, Maple Street, and Water Street. Milling and hot mix asphalt, sidewalk replacement and curb and gutter replacement will occur on some of the roads while others will receive general improvements.
Bids for the Community Crossings projects range from $638,165 to $870,800. Bids for the smaller paving projects range from $72,100 to $100,300.
The bids were taken under advisement to be reviewed by Ken Jones with Engineering Firm Jones, Petrie and Rafinski.
