The owner of a trailer park in Culver is attempting to comply with an order to clean up the property.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist issued an update at the most recent meeting of the Culver Town Council where he said the owners were asked to remove the trailers there or rehabilitate them to a livable status. The utilities have been removed from the structures in an attempt to take them off the property, but several concerns have come up in the process.
The property owners have not given the town any indication of what will be done with the property. A gateway project is planned east of the area near State Road 17.
The town council members plan to discuss this further in an executive session at 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 23. Town Attorney Jim Clevenger noted potential litigation as the purpose of the executive session.
