Plymouth Board of Works Members Discuss Pharmaceutical Agreement

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members discussed a pharmaceutical agreement with the Plymouth hospital.  Fire Chief Rod Miller said it amends the inventory levels of narcotics kept on the ambulances.

“We have reduced these to about half due to some cost measures,” said Miller.  “We’re trying to work a little bit leaner so what we did is we identified that as Exhibit 1 in the amendment.  All I need is your permission to go ahead and have Jeanine [Xaver, Clerk-Treasurer] and board members sign your agreement.”

The board members approved the amended agreement with a unanimous vote.

Miller also asked that two paramedics participate in continuing education for specialized training and certifications in February and March.  That request also resulted in a favorable unanimous vote.
