The Marshall County Council members will meet today where Sheriff Matt Hassel will have several budget updates and job description updates for council consideration. Hassel is anticipated to talk about either leasing or purchasing four new vehicles for the sheriff’s department for the commissioners’ final decision next week.
Evelyn Shields from WIC will talk about a fund adjustment, Plan Director Ty Adley will provide an update and Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt will have an annual report.
The council members will consider additional appropriation requests and salary ordinance amendments.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. today, followed by a work session concerning septic systems around 10:30 a.m. Both events will be held in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
