The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning where two public hearings are planned.
One public hearing will address a rezoning request for the Hopple family. That hearing is set for 9:40 a.m. today. At 10 a.m., a public hearing is scheduled for opinions on a proposed fee to be established for convicted inmate processing. Members of the public are welcome to discuss those topics during those scheduled times today.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Julie Fox will have updates for the commissioners, and EMA Director Clyde Avery will discuss the County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and an equitable sharing agreement.
Sheriff Matt Hassel will present more discussion for a decision on the purchase of vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department. He will also present a 911/Dispatch employee for recognition.
Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will talk about the JAG grant while Plan Director Ty Adley and Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt will present their annual report.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
