The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will talk more about a plan to help brand Marshall County. Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez and Lou Pierce from the Big Idea Company presented a plan to the commissioners last month that is anticipated to help steer visitors to the county and market to those looking to settle in the Marshall County.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will have an update and EMA Director Clyde Avery will discuss the county’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.
Sheriff Matt Hassel will talk more about purchasing new vehicles for the sheriff’s department and County Attorney Jim Clevenger will have an update.
The commissioners plan to sign an OCRA sub-recipient agreement for the 4-H Multi-purpose building in Argos and review an unemployment tracker contract.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
