Work on the Early Childhood Learning Center is about complete.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members on Tuesday night that most of the walls are painted, cabinets are being hung, restroom fixtures are being installed and the flooring needs to be done. The project is on schedule.
The Marshall County Community Foundation and the United Way offices will be located in that building on Miller Drive in Plymouth.
The Aquatic Center project is about 45 percent complete. Chavez said all four walls are up and the trusses are set while the pool deck is being placed on the facility. In the next two weeks, the area for the pool will be excavated. They will be watching that part of the project when it comes to soils and costs. The project is anticipated to be complete in August.
